Text being added when emails are sent RRS feed

    When we send emails from CRM 2013 On-Premise the following text is being added at the beginning of the email.

    charset=utf-8">

    Has anyone else come across this and found a solution.

    Hi Nikki,

    This is a HTML tag, can you please specify

    1. Is this is appearing on all the emails or emails generated through a workflow or a plugin?
    2. Are you trying to enter any HTML template

    Hi, thanks for responding/

    Yes it is appearing on all emails. I have tested it again today and I have a slightly different message:

    charset=us-ascii">

    
    

    I haven't been using any HTML templates and simply typing the email into the template or email fields.

    The only thing I can think is it is linked to the signature that our exchange server puts on the bottom of all emails.
