CRM 3.0, Outlook 2010, Windows 7 64bits RRS feed

  • Hi all !

    I've a new laptop and tried to reinstall the CRM 3.0 client... On my old laptop, i used to have outlook 2007 and upgraded to outlook 2010 and it worked nice...

    On my brand new laptop, i've directly installed Outlook 2010.

    When I want to install CRM client, I have an error telling me that Outlook is not installed at all...

    I'm running the setup as a domain admin with the UAC disabled and started with "Run as administrator".

    I tried to export Outlook 2007 registry settings from the HKLM hive on my old laptop and import it on my new laptop but this does not help me.

    I hope someone had this problem.

    Please do not answer me that : "It does not work", "CRM 3.0 is discontinued", ... I really need help on this.

  • You´ve answered your question. You have to uninstall outlook 2010, install 2007, install the client then upgrade your outlook to 2010.

    And of course use 32bit only for outlook.
