  • Hi Ravi,

Do you really want to disable them - or would hiding them be ok?

    To Hide them you can:

    1. Download and install the Ribbon Workbench for CRM2011 (http://www.develop1.net/public/page/Ribbon-Workbench-for-Dynamics-CRM-2011.aspx)
    2. Create a solution in CRM and add the Application Ribbon (Client Extensions)
    3. Open the Ribbon Workbench (Settings->Customization->Solutions->Ribbon Workbench (Ribbon Button))
    4. Select the application ribbon solution you have created
    5. Select the {!EntityPluralDisplayName} tab
    6. Right click on the Download Link and Email Link buttons and select 'Hide Button'
    7. Change the drop down in the top right from 'Homepage' to 'Form'
    8. Right click on the Download Link and Email Link buttons and select 'Hide Button'
    9. Click 'Publish'

To un-hide them - you select the Hide Commands->Un-hide on each hide command.

If you really want to disable them and not hide them, you can:

    1. Rather than selecting 'Hide Button' you can use 'Customise Command'
    2. In the 'Solution Elements' pane you can select Commands->'Mscrm.CopyShortcutSelected.AlwaysEnabled'
    3. Use right click and 'Edit Enable Rules'
    4. Remove 'Mscrm.Enabled'
    5. Use 'Add New' and a 'Page Rule' with any dummy value in the 'Address' field.

If you need more details on this please let me know.
