  • Hello Vinay,

Typically, SQL Server CAL's works the same way as any other CAL's - which means, if you have CRM 50 users - you will require 50 CRM CAL's and 50 SQL Server CAL's

    BUT

For SQL Server, you have these other options:

    • "Per User CAL" : A CAL is purchased per User
    • "Per Device CAL": A CAL is purchased per device
    • "Per Core": Unlimited Users/Devices can access the SQL Server. If you go for the ‘Per core’ model, you will need to license a minimum of 4 Cores per processor. The good news is that each license includes 2 cores, so your minimum purchase here will be 2 licenses.

Hope this clarifies your question. Thank you!

    Cheers, Francis Edwin
