Outlook Calendar

Question

Using MSCRM client in Outlook, is it true you cannot schedule a task (phone call, email) with a contact for a future date and time and have that task show up in your Outlook calendar thus reminding you to do it? I'm told only "APPOINTMENTS" will show up in your calendar. Help. For some reason these "tasks" will show up in Outlook Tasks, but do not show up under the calendar.

Tasks synced to Outlook will show up as Tasks in Outlook. However, depending on your default Outlook reminder settings, you should get a pop-up reminder for the tasks. Generally, the default reminder is set to 15 minutes before the Task due time.

Hi, Stash.
Outlook can't show tasks in calendar.
I had completed similar task but it was done with development of custom aspx page and deploying it on the CRM server.
