Is a qps-ploc lang pack avaible for Windows 10? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are developing a UWP for Windows 10 and want to use the multilingual toolkit to do internalization testing.  But once we add the pseudo locale to windows languages our app displays the pseudo locale but the OS indicates that there is no language interface pack available for Windows 10.  This makes internationalization testing difficult because the testers can't identify OS messages from the app messages.  Are their any plans of making these available?  They existed in earlier Windows versions.

  • Hi David Day

I’m little confused about your question. The app displays the pseudo locale successfully but the OS could not display the pseudo locale.

So the question is that you want to add different language package to your OS?

    Best regards,

    Roy

  • Yes specifically the Pseudo locale this is what the Windows 10 languages shows

Since some OS messages are still in English testers are unable to determine if our application is properly localized.
