Bill;
There's no Norton here, Symantec either. You're at the forums for the free Microsoft Security Essentials. Did I mention it's a FREE AntiVirus from Microsoft?
You can probably find the Norton Community forums to ask your question here:

You should contact Symantec Support team for more help about this issue:
http://www.symantec.com/support/index.jsp
Try to update your Norton and Windows and install latest Service pack for Windows(if you haven't done yet)
Run full system scan using norton too.
Also if you can try to install latest version of Norton, in some cases they have free upgrade from one version to newer one.Saturday, February 6, 2010 12:13 PM -
If you are in North America, you can call 866-727-2338 for help with virus and spyware infections. See http://www.microsoft.com/protect/support/default.mspx for details. For international information, see your local subsidiary Support site.
