Windows 7 Premium not geniune

Question
-
I have had my OEM installed Windows 7 since 2009. I recently had to have the hard drive cloned due to it making clicking noises and knew it was going to fail. It was fine for about a month but now is saying that the installation of Windows is not genuine.

This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -
Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
try downloading and installing them from here - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=21730
(you want the iata_enu.exe download)
Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.

I'm in the middle of producing 2 slideshows (home business). As soon as I get them completed I will install the drivers. I don't want to lose any of the work or not have access to finish the shows. I'll repost the MGADiag report on Friday. Thanks so much for the help so far.Monday, October 29, 2012 11:56 PM

It worked! I even have my Windows update back. It's been gone since 8/16/2012!. I went on the Microsoft Validation Website and it came up as valid. I am noticing my computer is slower and not responding when it first start up. I typed in the search bar and all I got was hash marks for about the first 5 seconds. I'll post if other things happen. Thanks again.

The report looks fine now - if thingas are working right. you probably also have a noticeable speed improvement as well :)
Good luck.
