how to find appdata on windows.old computer? RRS feed

Sorry, I have no clue where to post this question.  I recently did a custom install of windows 7 to fix a silverlight program problem. In the process I wiped my incredimail email program. So to retrieve my old emails and contacts I have follow steps outlined by incredimail. I have to navigate to appdata but that brings up appdata in the "new computer".  I *THINK* I need appdata in windows.old so that I can go to  C:\Users\Your Profile Name (Logon Name)\AppData\Local Settings\IM.

Does anyone know how I can find appdata in the windows.old computer? Sorry, I'm not very computer savvy.  Cheers!

    1. Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.

    2. Click the View tab.

    3. Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then click OK.

    4. C:\Windows.old\Users\User Name\AppData

      That's all i know :)
