My windows XP crashed and became "unvalidated" after I did a routine Verizon Security free scan. It wiped out my Windows RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear Microsoft:

I have called several times and been given a runaround and since then I get that "my version of Windows XP is not validated" and my old disc that came with my computer (2003) is outdated for what is running on my PC.  I can't find the Cert. of Authenticity at this point as this was my nephew's computer.  This started at least 7-8 months ago and no one at Microsoft was able to help me.  I can not do any updates or get security on my PC.

I even opened ActiveX and that didn't work.  Verizon said it was a Microsoft issue and hung up on me--nice.  I am switchin to Optimum as soon as I can.

I am stuck as I am disabled and this is my only source of computer access.  Any suggesstions??  Please?

    Thank you,

    Marybeth Malloy

    2. After running the MGA Diagnostic Tool, click on the "Windows" tab and then click on "Copy".

    3. Next, visit the following website and create a post in the "WGA Validation Problems" forum and paste the results of the WGA Diagnostic Data in a detailed post. http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/default.aspx?SiteID=25
