Found discrepancy on MS Press book 70-272 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am currently studying for the MCDST certification. While going over the MS Press book 70-272, I came across this descrepancy:

In Chapter 10, preview Question 1, the answer states that Windows Firewall (or ICF pre- SP2) should only be enabled on he ICS host, not on the individual machines connecting to that host.

Now, in Preparing for the Exam, Objective 4.4 Question 1 states that the Windows Firewall or ICF should be enabled on ALL computers, not just the ICS host.

    Which answer is correct?

  • That makes more sense. All computers should have a firewall. What happens if the threat comes from inside the network?

    Thank you!
