CRM 3.0 and Symantec Mail Security for Exchange RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a client who uses CRM 3.0, and the users use the Outlook client.  they also have Symantec Mail Security installed on Exchange.  When users send an e-mail and track it in CRM, they get the following message back:

Symantec Mail Security detected that you sent a message with an unscannable attachment or body

    Has anyone seen this happen?

  • Thanks Imran,

I'm aware that Symantec is a different program, but since these e-mails are coming back when users track emails in CRM, I posted to the CRM forum to see if anyone else has seen this happen, and might know what specifcally it is about the CRM tracked emails that triggers this.

This is a *security* question? Seems you should be posting in an Outlook newsgroup, or in a Symantec newsgroup for whatever unidentifed security software you are using (Norton is a family brand within Symantec, not a specific product title). You could try disabling or uninstalling whatever is the "Norton" program and see if e-mail then works.

    Regards,

    Imran
