Why is the video output now showing the full screen input? RRS feed

    Please look at this image: http://i.imgur.com/lFosTdM.jpg

    The input is to the left and the output is to the right. As you can see the end result does not show the full image. The output is a 1280x720 segmet cut out from the original 1920x1080 input (however 1080p is used for the output file). Is anyone else having trouble with this ?

    Video stabilization always incurs some amount of cropping. The stabilizer needs to "move" each frame in order to create the stable effect. If we didn't crop then this "move" would result in empty regions at the edge of the stabilized result. Every stabilizer product does this.

    That said, the amount of cropping is a parameter that can be adjusted. More cropping can allow for a more stable path, but downside is, well, more cropping. We may evaluate changes to this parameter as the product evolves.
