  • It looks to me as if you've simply neglected to activate within the grace period.

     

     You need to change the Product Key to the one on the COA sticker on the machine's case (or inside the battery compartment),  using the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System properties page.

     

     

    You may need to activate by phone.   

    ... the other option is that you have a counterfeit install - your machine was shipped apparently with Vista installed - but the BIOS date is well within Win7 7 territory.  The machine is an Acer - but there is no apparent SLIC table, and I wasn't aware that ACER shipped machines without Windows installed (which means that there should be a SLIC table present).

    From a quick search on Google, it appears that this machine should have shipped with Win7 installed - is there a COA sticker on the case?? if so, for what version and edition of Windows is it valid??
