  • hey!

    im new to crm...

    how can i send automatic e-mail or alert emails for users when these users don't fill every day their service activity?

  • Is this by the end of day check? or the next morning? Service Activity got create or completed?  Which CRM version 4.0 or 2011? Are you using On Premise or Online? 

     

    Most likely will need to look into a scheduler and then run a program (CRM SDK) to check for any Service Activities for each user and then send the automatic email.

  • You have an out-of-the-box option which is to create a workflow that runs on a service activity when it is created.  First, use a wait condition to wait until the due date of the service activity.  Next add a check condition to look at the status and if it is not closed, send a e-mail notification.  Next use a wait condition and timeout for 1 day, then loop back to the top of the workflow and start again.
