Problem with Windows Vista Home Premium Validation RRS feed

  • I have a problem with Windows Vista Home Premium.  I've had this comp for a few years and got the validation error. Tried to validate online but i cant.  Here is the diagnostics report:

    You need to change the Key to the one on the COA sticker on the case of your machine. To do this, use the link at the bottom of the System properties page and follow the instructions – you may need to activate by phone.

    Thanks Noel. Is there any other way to fix this???? Unfortunately the sticker on laptop is worn and I am unable to read the key. Thanks in advance for your help

  • You'll need to contact HP Support and ask them for assistance with reading their OEM Windows Vista product key.
