Thanks to Mike V. for prodding me along to fix two outstanding bugs (See also: http://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/2010/02/12/java-app-to-update-quotes/)
. Bad data in BROKER_ID field
    . Price: 1,000.00 should be 1000.00
With those fixes, I believe the tool is usable to do daily quote update.

I've grudgingly gone to Quicken but regretting every other weeks. I might yet be back to Money one of these days.
Until then, I will not be able to really test this tool personally but if you bug me enough (especically around the holiday ;-)
when I have some breathing room), I will try to fix them.

  • hleOfxQuotes.jar appears to be a compiled file. It does not appear offer the opportunity for inspection. Maybe I am wrong; I don't know Java.

  • Hi Cal.  Yes it is compiled, but you can use WinZip to "decompile" the package for inspection.   Not as neatly as the Python scripts though :)
