Cannot get this site listed been trying for months - can anyone advise at all? RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have been trying to get this site listed for months and months it is on all the other search engines and I have been using the webmaster tools with live and have created a sitemap.xml and also update the robots.txt file to list the sitemap file.  I have also tried just submitting the url to msn over the last few months but it is still not listed.

    The site in question is www.storageconcepts.co.uk  if anyone can point out what I need to do I would be most grateful - this has really stumped me.

    I have used the webmaster tools on msn and got other sites listed since I started with this one.

    Hi Tracy,

     

    I was / am having the same problem. I opened a trouble ticket and they told me the webmaster tools are still in beta mode and as thus, do not necessarily work nor are they supported. He did give me the following link (which I could swear I used before) and after using it, my homepage was indexed.

     

    http://search.live.com/docs/submit.aspx

     

    However, it was only indexed once, and only the homepage. I can see it read my sitemap, but no other pages have been indexed yet, but at least my homepage shows on the search site now.

     

    It has been a week, so I'm hoping the site will catch-up and index the rest of my site soon.
