computer slows and locks RRS feed

    when I boot my computer it works fine but then norton A/V will del message (high cpu use) my computer will then slow and stop responding I may not be running any other programs. Wnen I run a norton full system scan it can only find a few tracking cookies. I have tried some MS fix it I thought it was fixed but it is now doing the same thing. what can be causing the high cpu use?
