FAO Darin , Is this a MSDN or "Regular" key

Question
-
I'm growing suscpicious of a copy of "Windows 7 Home Premium 32/64 bit English" Purchased on ebay. (and at a price that did not arise suspicion).
I would greatly appreciate it if you could verify if I have or have not fallen prey to the MSDN key "scam" so I can take appropriate action through ebay / paypal . (and I would be happy to hear about any other bodies I should take this matter to, as I do not enjoy being conned).
Thank you in advance for your time.

Not Darin, but....Yes, it is an MSDN Key.....Your Key is an MSDN one - which cannot be bought outside of an MSDN subscription.Your installation is of a counterfeit copy of WindowsUnless you are an MSDN subscriber, you are not entitled to use the Key – and whoever sold it to you was not entitled to do so.Your Windows Key is from a not-for-resale MSDN account. You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key.(all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window. or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)

The pirates have got VERY good at this over the past few years, as the price of equipment for manufacturing the packages drops, and as factories open in less well-policed countries.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Not the answer I was hoping for, however I now at least have a clear cut course of action.

I was 99.9% sure, but just in case, I ran the key through my Key Check tool and it is an MSDN product key.
Please follow Noel's post. I can't add much more than what he has already provided.
Thanks,
Darin MS
