I'm sorry that you are having trouble reaching support. And, I'm sorry for the trouble you encountered with the forum, too. I've been getting the forum errors lately, too.
Personally, I would remove OneCare at this point and seek an alternative backup solution. When your subscription ends, you will need to do that anyway.

Uninstall OneCare

and then download and install the free Microsoft Security essentials for malware protection -

If you used OneCare for backups, you'll still be able to restore from old backups if you use the OneCare Restore tool -

but you'll need to seek an alternative backup solution.
If you want to proceed with OneCare through the end of your subscription, a reinstall of OneCare may be in order. If your PC had a virus missed by OneCare and you reinstalled
the operating system, perhaps you have not successfully updated Windows with the latest service packs and security patches?
