New Line of Credit Account in MS Money Uk RRS feed

    Could someone please assist me with how to set up a Home Equity Line of Credit in Money 2005 UK? I'm using this program in Canada with CAD as the main currency. The option for Line of Credit does not appear under "other" account types, so I'm stuck!

    When you get to the list of Other account types, use the scroll bar to the right of the list. OK, you probably did that already. If you don't find such an account type, I would use a Liability account or a Credit Card acccount.

    I don't have UK installed, but you do. Still, there is no real disadvantage that I can think of for using a Liability account or Credit Card account for this, other than how the accounts are grouped on the Accounts page. You could name the account HELOC if you like.

    Another thing you could consider is to do a QIF export from your verson and import into Money Plus Deluxe Sunset if you prefer.
