    I uninstalled Live Mesh and then tried to install it again, but I keep getting this error :/

     

    Live Mesh Service is unavailable.

    Please retry your installation later.

    [80072F78] The server returned an invalid or unrecognized response.

     

    So it won't let me reinstall it :/.  It stopped letting me remote into my home machine, so i tried to reinstall and well yeah...

     

    Also, when I use Live Mesh at the college computer labs, it works fine if its not a comp I've installed live mesh on before, but fails with this error if I'm trying to install it on a computer I've used before.  Sounds like something in the uninstall isnt getting removed and the installer is expecting it not to be there.

    Hi,

    We've seen some scattered reports of this lately, though in most cases the installation succeeds when tried again later.  If you could grab the Live Mesh Servicing log after one of the failed installs and open a bug through Connect (instructions) that may provide us more information about what's happening.  Also, if you try the install again and it succeeds, please do let me know.
