Invalid File Name With Ascii Characters RRS feed

  • Question

  • While working with C#, I wrote code to list directories from an external drive.  I got an erro message that indicates an invalid file name on the drive.  The file name looks like "xô".  The space in between the characters actually has a square box while viewing the file name in Windows explorer.  I cannot open it and I cannot delete it.  Where is a forum that I can go to to find out how that file got onto my drive and how I can get it off?

  • I will move it, but suggesting that I move the post to another forum is not an "answer" to my original post.
