Windows 7 Ultimate activation blocked

Question
-
Hello
Around 12th of Dec 2010 I have purchased a full retail copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. It came in a sealed box with a license and COA.
I have installed the OS and used it without a problem until tonight.
I received a random notification that my Windows copy could not be activated, regardless of being successfully activated a month ago.
The error code was: 0xC004C003 "The activation server determined the specified product key has been blocked"
Please help.
Here is my MGA report:

Unfortunately, your Key is from a not-for-resale MSDN account. You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key, and do NOT allow them to waste time with an RMA (all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window. or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)Please read the following stickies....

The pirates have got VERY good at this over the past few years, as the price of equipment for manufacturing the packages drops, and as factories open in less well-policed countries.

In the the Product ID line the 068 in "Windows Product ID: 00426-068-3446693-86958" shows that your product key is an MSDN subscriber's key. So the question is how did an MSDN product key get printed in a genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate retail box? The answer, of course, is that it didn't. That beautiful box is a counterfeit. Probably produced in China or Mexico. See how good these are at

You need to press the seller for a refund. Do not accept a "replacement" key. It will be from the same stock. The seller is just buying time to sell as much as he can and then disapear. Also you should file a report with Microsoft at
http://www.microsoft.com/howtotell/reports/report.aspx
and you need to buy a new copy of Windows. If you buy a full retail Ultimate you can simply change the product key on the System Properties page to repair the licensing issue. If you suspect the dvd you used for the installation (malware?) then reinstall. But you should be able to run enough different scanners (all the good ones have an online version just for this) to gain some confidence.

We are all sorry that you are in this situation. It just plain hurts the pocketbook and the pride.
