CRM Outlook Client Configuration Error.

  I am having trouble configuring the CRM client for outlook with offline. When I run the configuration for an online service provider I get a 404 remote server not found error. I tried the url in a web browser and it works fine. After clicking ok on the error I get another one "Mandatory Updates for Microsoft Dynamics CRM could not be applied successfully. Try running the application again".
  It was also working a week ago but stopped working after it was infected with a virus. Virus was removed and its still not working.
  
  We are running MS crm 4.0 using outlook 2003 with rollup update 3 on windows XP.
