Q1: You need to create the second SIP domain in OCS (b.com) to support this.

Q2: Inject ObjectSID of each users in MSRTCSIP-OriginatorSid field in the created contact object for the user in domain b which was created in domain a to allow you to enable them as an OCS user.

  • Meaning seperate forests and seperate OCS installations, correct? Or a single OCS install in Forest A and you are trying to allow users in the other forest to 'use' that same OCS deployment?

Can you provide some more details?

  • Hello!

you have the document at microsoft that explains in detail how to deploy into a mulit forest environment. It gives you some examples on how to configure all components. One thing that I'm not sure if it mentions is that if the trust is domain-wide then you are not able to use kerberos authentification and you should force OCS to use NTLM. If you want to use kerberos then the trust needs to be forest-wide.

    Good luck!
