After downloading 8.1 to my Nokia 1520 my phone began running hot, battery began draining very quickly and when l pushed power button the screen read 'resuming' in small letters center screen
with series of small dots running left to right across center screen. I would wait 1-3 minutes for "resuming" to stop and I could finally get to tile screen in order to use phone. Phone worked fine for 5-6 months prior to 8.1 download. Phone was
hot and battery drained in half a day compared to lasting 2-3 days before downloading 8.1. Had AT&T ship warranty replacement 1520 and had exact same problems after 8.1 download. Had AT&T send another replacement phone, downloaded 8.1...same problem.
Had AT&T ship third replacement phone and DID NOT install 8.1 download. This phone works OK without 8.1 download. Definite BIG PROBLEMS with 8.1 upgrade. I WILL NOT attempt another 8.1 download until Microsoft resolves problems with 8.1 upgrade.
