How can I find out where I'm Getting Wifi from?

  I pay for cable and internet. My cable was shut off due to an overdue balance and suprisingly, I found I still have internet. I looked in Networking and sharing and it says I'm connected with Charter Communications (NVIDIA nForce Networking, US) Public network. If I cancel my cable and internet account with Charter, will I still get the free Public Internet connection/WiFi?
