locked out of windows 7 RRS feed

  • I am locked out from my laptop, i can only access my daughter's user and guest. I forgot my password seeing how i havent used this thing in 2 months

    i dont have a password reset disk, or a copy of windows 7. Can anyone help me? I cant run anything without it asking for a password.

  • Microsoft policy is to not help with password problems apart from suggesting you use System Restore (which won't help you).

  • yes there is a way turn off computer then when powering on continuisly hit F8 then boot it in safe mode there should be an alternet account that says administrator click it and once your in admin account click start then find the "run" then type in this control userpasswords2 and click enter then click your user name twice go to group membership and click other and select administrator be sure to click apply and then your done just reboot computer.

    PS. this does not work on all computers
