    I bought 2 retail copies of Windows Live One Care. The first was activated on Dec. 25th 2007 and I installed it on 3 PC's. Then my wife got a new laptop  yesterday, so I bought the 2nd retail version with a license fir 3 more PC's. Well I installed it on her laptop, but I used my existing Windows Live ID to activate it and now it shows that the subscription will expire on Dec. 25th of 2008 instead of Feb. 9th, 2009. Is there anyway I can fix her's so that she will get a full year out of the program? Do I have to uninstall, then reinstall? And now that I activated her's with my old Windows Live CD and used one of my 3 licenses, what happens to my other 3 PC's? Does one of them lose it's license now?

    You need to create a new liveid for your second license, its 1 Onecare license (3PC's) per Live ID

     

    Just uninstall onecare and reinstall, activate using 2nd live id
