When I try to configure the CRM Outlook client, this error message appear: "Action Failed: Microsoft.Crm.Config.Client.InstallPstAction action. Fail LaunchOutlookInstallerProcess."
I've known users to have problems if the PC had a previous version of the CRM client installed and leftover CRM PST files caused that error.
They opened the Control Panel/Mail/Data Files and deleted any CRM files then rebooted. (Be sure to have backups of everthing before deleting files, just in case you accidentally delete more than you meant to.)
Also - if there are local policies that may be preventing the user from creating files in that folder - depending on how the client PCs and/or network security are configured.Scott Sewell, CustomerEffective | http:\\blog.CustomerEffective.com | Twitter:@ScottSewell
