Money 2005 to ??

Question
-
We have been using Microsoft Money (2005) for 5 years and have a lot of data in the .mny file but the computer running money has failed. I see that money is no longer supported so what is the best way of NOT losing my money data? I have a backup of the money files (and an export in quicken format - one file for each of 5 accounts!). I am told on the MS site that I could move to Quicken but Quicken says I need Money 2007 or 2008 to import into Quicken. They also say to download the tral version of Money Plus and convert the "earlier versions" - but Money Plus refuses to do this.
Is there anyone out there who can tell me how my 5 years of Money (2005) data will not be lost forever!
Thanks

What a poor answer. When is Microsoft going to start listening to the CUSTOMER and provide an easy transition from Money 2005 to Quicken?Sunday, June 27, 2010 12:58 PM

Never. If they cared about Money users, it wouldn't be dead.Tuesday, July 13, 2010 9:12 PM
