Controlling Project Details View, Project Server 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • My organization is planning on making heavy use of the project workspaces in project server 2010.  One of the web parts we'll have in our template is the project details web part, which shows the project schedule.  We have a number of views setup on the schedule and they all appear to be working fine.

Right now, a user can pull up a workspace and see what-ever view happens to be coming up for a schedule.  Using the Ribbon, the user can change to another pre-defined view.  Is there a way for me to set the view to a specific default for all users?  I'm not seeing where I could set that.

  • Hi Mtbren79

Views cannot be set to default or in other ways forced by administrator to users, views are specific to users, for the first time a user logis in he would see the summary view, and next time onwards he would see the view he last saved or visited,

so you cannot enforce any view as default view
