    Hi - I'm trying to install Windows Image Composite Editor (64 bit) on my Windows 7 computer. I download the install file and click "run". However, an error box then pops up which reads "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.".

    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    First (maybe silly) question is: are you running the 64bit version of Windows 7?

    If so, sounds like a "windows" issue rather than an install file issue. Try the normal things: reboot, run Windows Updates, make sure you have enough space on your C: drive, etc.
