Windows 7 Professional "Not Genuine" Warning (.. while computer properties shows "Active")

Question
-
Same issue as everyone else.. I'm getting a pop up window that my Windows 7 Professional copy is not genuine. When I go to my computer properties.. it says my copy is "active". But I still get the pop ups once in a while.
InfoWorld reports this as a Microsoft problematic update that caused thousands of users this problem (KB 3004394).
Any suggestions?

You have a Windows Professional Retail install with -220- in the Product ID. This usually indicates it is a not for resale MSDN version. Where did you get the install disks and are you an MSDN subscriber? If KB3004394 is installed - uninstall it.
This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -
Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
try downloading and installing them from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=22194
(you want the iata_enu.exe download)
Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.

Thank you for your help Noel.
Looking in Windows Update, it appears KB3004394 was not installed (note: yesterday I had applied KB3024777 which was issued to fix the KB3004394 problem)
Tried installing Intel Rapid Storage Driver (iata_enu.exe) and received message.. "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software". It did not install.
This morning the "Genuine" error message appeared again and said I had 3 days left. So I tried this on the command-line (as Admin):
- slmgr /rilc (reinitializes the license file)
- slmgr /rearm (resets rearm count)
- I reentered my key again, and it successfully activated again.
It's a repeating pattern. I will post again if the Geniune error message appears again.
Best regards!

Kamin thank you. I purchased the laptop used from an online vendor (just like your link describes). I'll contact the vendor and reference this thread to see if they can correct the issue. I appreciate your help!
Best regards!
