We have CRM2013 on-Premise and SharePoint 2010 fully integrated together.
However, we have a minor annoyance that we cannot see to resolve easily. Although Entities have a Sub-Menu item to share documents stored within SharePoint. You have to click on the menu to check if there are any documents there.
When users are logging cases they find this frustrating to click on the documents link only to find it empty.
We've been asked to put the document list as a sub-grid on the main case form, or could we add a document counter displayed on the main form to indicate documents exist.
We've tried doing the subgrid view via an IFrame but we keep banging heads with IFrame security issues when requesting SharePoint Data.
Is there a way to give a visual clue easily on the cases form to show documents exist within SharePoint for the given incident logged?
