...been reading posts from others trying to get their stuff.  there are no asterisk=see fine print "microsoft has set this up so you can chase your tail indefinitely."  therefore, if a microsoft rep/employee dosent answer these posts and deliver the goods,  then there are legal implications, (fraudulent info / false advertising).  i too am US ARMY and will be deploying in a few months.  CURRENTLY I RESIDE/LIVE/EAT/SLEEP WITHIN THE BOUNDRIES OF THE LOWER 48.  THERE SHOULD BE NO ISSUE WITH MY CASE.  I HAVE A REGISTERED, GENUINE, OEM SYSTEM BUILDER VERSION.

  • Dear shaggygoblin,

If you look closely at the posts, you will find that we work to ensure that eligible participants receive their bonus packs. I try hard to minimize the "tail chasing", especially for service members deployed overseas.

Unfortunately, you encountered one of our glitches: the partners decided to extend the program, but we received the extension information too late to keep the offer from temporarily "expiring." We are working to deploy the extension but it's going to take us about 24 hours more before the offer is "live" again.

Please try again in a day or two to redeem the offer. If you continue to have problems after that, please let us know and we will work with you to ensure this is resolved.

    Thank you,
