Good Books for MCPD Webdeveloper 4 RRS feed

  • H

I am interested in giving ms certification for MCPD Webdeveloper 4 and went through the ms site. I understand for this i have to give 515,513,516,519.

What i am looking for is good books for these certifications and learning material (online text  or videos). When i try to search @ amazon all i find is books for 515 and 516 but nothing for 513 or 519.

Would greatly appreciate if one of the experts could guide me with that.

    thanks.

  • For 70-513 there is no book as such, however it seems like wcf hasnt changed much between 3.5 and 4.0

So you can use the 70-503 material and google to see the latest features in 4.0

For 70-519. there is no book as such, but in amazon they show this link

    http://www.amazon.com/MCPD-70-519-Exam-Ref-Applications/dp/0735657262/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311098802&sr=8-1

    Hope this info helps

  • One of the best ways to study is to look at the skills measured in each exam and research the content via MSDN.

  • Hi all,

would you recommend one to take these exams in a specific order or you can do any at any time? for instance must one start with 513 or you can just start with 519.

Only after you pass the pre-reqs 513, 516 and 515/515 you would be allowed to take the pro exam 518/519

This is not correct.  You can take exams whenever you want.  There is not system in place that makes you take exams in that order.

The OP could talke exam 518/519 first if they wanted to.
