Windows One Care RRS feed

  • Question

I made an over the phone purchase from Tiger Direct and the rep pushed hard to sell me a system optimizer application. I figured I would take a look and decide if it is something I can use. So far I have not been able to try it. The new software will not load because something is blocking it. There is no mention as to where to check to see what is holding things up. Is WIndows One Care a system optimizer? If so I'll return this app. Thanks for helping.

PS. I am using Windows Vista Premium Version 6.0 (Build 6000)

  • Most "system optimizer" programs are not worth purchasing because they either don't optimize your system or make changes you can make yourself for free. One Care is designed to keep your computer operating efficiently by defragmenting your system on a schedule, deleting unnecessary files and monitoring for unused or infrequently used startup programs.
