Windows Live Personalized Experience RRS feed

  • Question

  • Windows Live Personalized Experience is my favorite homepage. It is my homepage on IE8. I have just used Revo uninstaller to remove all traces or Firefox, reinstalled the latest beta Firefox, found my homepage using Google no problem. So why can't I do the same with Google Chrome? No matter what I do I cannot get Windows Live Personalized Experience using Google Chrome. All I can get is a useless and unwanted homepage from Bing!!! How come?

  • Well it seems like I have an answer to my own question once again. Just when I thought I would have to settle for iGoogle for a homepage I discovered an extension for google Chrome called IE Tab Classic. Go to this site to get the extension.....(http://chrome.google.com/extensions...bemlkgidepfjfi) and install. An IE icon will appear in the omnibox. Click the icon and in the IE Tab address bar will open. Type http://my.live.com/ and enter and finally, at last, Windows Live Personalised Experience will open with all your settings just as it does in Firefox or IE. Finally and obviously bookmark it so it can be opened with one click in future.
