Do you have to send the invitation for CRM Online, in order for user to access online? RRS feed

  • I know a user doesn't  need to access the link through the native invitation message for Online, but it seems like you have to send the invite in order for a user to be acknowledged as having been invited to the org. You can't just change Invitation Status to Invited.

    Does anyone know if I am wrong? Is there any way around this?

  • Correct, an Invite needs to be sent and Accepted before a user can login to CRM Online.

  • To go along with Frank's answer.  The other Cloud Applications that Microsoft has (SharePoint, Exchange, etc) are using the same method.  So it seems like it's going to be a standard.
