getting error "404 - File or directory not found." when try to access Organization and Discovery Service in my updated CRM 2011 system. RRS feed

  • Hi,

    After updating my CRM 2011 system (System Admin have done that) ,i am getting error as below when i try to access my Organization and Discovery Service.

    "

    404 - File or directory not found.

    The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

    "

    What can be the solution ?

    At final, i re-install my crm and now it works.

  • I suggest you find out two things:

    1. Ask your System Admin exactly what updates were made
    2. What Urls generate the 404 error message. You can find this either from the IIS logs (if enabled), or from a client-side tool like Fiddler

  • Try repairing utility of CRM 2011, it will fix the issue by renewing the linkages between IIS and SQL. It must work
