  • I've noticed that all of my activity is not being logged. Are there any known problems or work-arounds for this?

  • I have not noticed missing activities in my profile, or that of others. What kind of activity do you find missing? Forum activity, like replies and answers?

  • I specifically noticed replies to a particular thread are missing. I'm not aware of anything unusual about the thread. It's this thread.

  • I see it now. bimmerdriver has activity in the linked thread in the last day, and several other recent posts as well. But the profile for bimmerdriver shows the last activity in that thread one month ago.

    Note: I need to study the issue in the thread, as I may be experiencing it. I recently had to start connecting to other computers by ip address rather than by netbios name.

  • They may have missed it and now it scrolled out of sight. I'd resend, they should eventually reply.

    If the issue solved or if the fissues team (fissues[at]microsoft[dot]com) are working on it, then please close this thread by marking one or more answer(s), or change it into discussion if this is fit more then a question.

    p.s.

    I have seen this issue several times in my profile. It happen from time to time. Usually after some days it get fix automatically and the data is there,but I cannot ever confirmed that everything was inserted to the profile log.

    * If it is not fix in one more week from now, then you should report it directly to the email that Dave gave you above. Usually the cases that I saw were fixed in 1-3 weeks.

  • I originally emailed them on 11/18, didn't receive a response so resent on 11/24. Received a response that they were looking into it on the same day. Still not fixed.

  • You will have to keep replying to them asking for updates. Lost activity is not uncommon, it has happened to most of us at some point. I don't think there's any guarantee they can or will be able to restore it.
