Trying to Figure out if I can use Sync Framework

Any help or direction appreciated.

Can I use Sync Framework where the user only downloads a subset of the data, for example, salesmen would only get the data for his/their product groups or codes?

If there is missing data in a table for a user, could Sync Framework start a stored procedure to populate the table, for example a sales report?

If either of these are possible where can I find documentation or examples or tutorials on how to implement?

Hi Dick,

That certainly sounds like a viable scenario for our Sync Framework Database Providers (previously called Sync Services for ADO.NET). Perhaps this webcast and this document would help you get started.
