Error In Installation of XP RRS feed

  • while installation of XP in my system i m getting following Error Message: "Setup was unable to format drive C:. The disk may be damaged. Make sure the drive is switched on and properly connected to your computer. If the disk is a SCSI disk, make sure your SCSI devices are properly terminated. Consult your computer or SCSI adapter."

    Please give me solution 4 this. I have ASUS K8v_mx motherbord with hitachi SATA harddisk.. Please Please Help..

  • May be your hard disk have a bad sector..try to connect it to other pc and block the bad sector.You can use partition magic.

  • hi actually some  virus in u r hard disk so only u unable 2 install xp...

  • Check ur harddisk in another pc..try to format it.

  • USe any boot cd and delete all the partition and create a raw partition of the full hard disk space tehn try to recreate your partition of different sizes than before then try to install Windows XP again

  • I Tried connecting my harddisk to another pc but No bed sectors No Installation problem, the whole installation completed successfully. But again when i connected my hdd to my pc the same problem arised. I think there is some problem in my motherboard??? Can u help further????
