Unable to Install WGA RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I try to install Geniune it says unable to verify the intergrity of the update.inf file. Please see if cryptographic service is on. It is on.

I've gotten it to validate online and says everything is fine (http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/SuccessfulActivation.aspx?displaylang=en&sGuid=dd65e6b7-8e25-4a5c-b071-64256bd557dd), but still pops up that I'm not validated when I restart and won't allow me to download windows update. Error number is [Error number: 0x800B0001}.

Windows genuine is showing up in IE tools add-ons but when I click to update active x it says unable to update.

    Here is my diag:

All replies

  • Ok no replies so far, but it is now effecting other programs. I'm no longer able to open some of my programs because of this.

    That should help!

Also, your copy of Office is not genuine - I recommend heading back to your retail point to remedy the issue - as there may be odd settings causing these issues. WGA does *NOT* modify the system settings to reduce performance in ANYWAY.
