Submit button doesn't work if I've selected text in the reply editor

Question

If I've selected some text in my reply while editing the reply, the Submit button does nothing when I click it. I often select the reply I've just typed in order to Copy it, just in case the Submit process fails (which it does once in a while), but have to deselect anything before the Submit button works.

I'm using IE7 on Vista. I just experienced this bug again, this time with the Cancel button. I could only click the Cancel button after I clicked to deselect the selected paragraphs.

I think I possibly had a repro on XP IE7 but it was momentary. When I selected all the text the Submit was unavailable for a few seconds but then I saw a small flash and it was available again.
Edit: it seems to be related to the "Copy" action of pressing Ctrl-C.

Interesting, I tried to reproduce on IE7 and the only thing I saw of not was when I hit ctrl-c and hovered over the submit button the pointer stayed as text-cursror for a second or two before changing to pointer/arrow. But it still worked. That said, our next release is going to be using the newer version of the telerik editor which is substantially different. One of those differences is that the submit/cancel buttons are not part of the control as they are now so I'd suspect that this issue will go away, I'll try it out on the new codebase when I get in tomorrow.
