Multiple subscriptions and user ID's RRS feed

    I have OneCare installed on three computers using my log in and the product key given with that subscription. I installed OneCare on a fourth computer and used my same log in. It did not ask for the new product key (I have a second copy) instead it just installed it on to the OneCare circle I already have.  I thought that you could only have three active computers on one copy of OneCare. Is this fourth computer protected or do I need to do something to fix it?

  • It is protected, but you have exceeded the allowed installations on a single subscription.
    That limitation is not yet strictly enforced, but to be compliant, you need to reinstall OneCare on the 4th PC and activate with a different LiveID - and that will require the activation of a new subscription with your second product key.
