Turn Off Online Services for Money 2007 Premium in Windows 10--How to Do??

Question
-
I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 yesterday and found that although MS Money v2007 will launch, it fails because it's trying to connect to Online Services. I can't get it to turn off because it starts as soon as I launch the app. It does not appear to have anything to do with the suggested IE issues everyone else is reporting.
Anyone else experiencing this issue, and has anyone figured out how to get around it? Other than this, it seems to run ok. Note that for several years, I log into the app by checking the box "I want to sign into Money directly, without online services", and that has always worked until now. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you install Money Plus Sunset, it will not try to connect to online services.
If you wanted to look around for a setting in Money 2007, disconnect from the Internet-- pull the plug or whatever. Then launch Money 2007. Try Banking->AccountTools->ManageOnlineServices. Click the credit account, and choose StopUsingOnlineServices.... I don't have Money 2007 to try that, but you could check that out once you are inside.
Also, regarding "I want to sign into Money directly, without online services", go to File-PasswordManager, and choose to
remove your LiveID. To remove or add a conventional password, also see File->PasswordManager.- Edited by Cal LearnerModerator Saturday, March 19, 2016 4:40 PM

Ok, now that I've removed my LiveID and I am not connected to the internet, I cannot keep Money open long enough to get to the Online Services settings. It shuts down as fast as I logged into it. Any other suggestions? :(
Also wondering if reinstalling Money 2007 will work or make everything worse.....or if I will have to go to Money Sunset?

If you haven't done so already, have a look at the first "sticky" thread in this forum:
https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/d28d6921-1f01-430f-b33e-f5a3ec47077b/important-patch-for-money-plus-maybe-20062007-mnyob99dll?forum=money
It describes the need to replace the mnyob99.dll file with a patched version when upgrading to Windows 10. It points to this site:
https://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/2012/12/02/windows-8-64-bit-version-compatibility-with-sunset-money/
which contains instructions on how to do the replacement and this link to a download of the patched file:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/zj0amk06ax57cfg/mnyob99.dll
When on that download page, be careful to just download the mnyob99.dll file (9.09Mb). The other links are for different programs.
This patch is also needed if you decide to move to Money Plus sunset.
Post back is you need further help with this. and let us know if it works for you.
